#59 The Adventurous Art of Noticing
I grew up a great fan of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. They were the contemporary junior versions of Sherlock Holmes. What I loved about their adventures was their ability to notice things that seemed invisible to everyone else.
Do you have someone in your life who you would consider being a first-class noticer? It's the person who finds a deeper meaning in a book you are reading, or the one who know exactly where you left the item you can't find. it’s important and beneficial for all of us to be better at noticing things.
Noticing is the ability to notice that which everyone else has overlooked. When we can take our noticing to a deeper level, we open doors we didn't know were there, we meet people that were unknown to us. We step into opportunities and solutions that were waiting around the corner.
But how do we develop that noticing muscle?
Today I have some adventurous invitations for activities that you can try in as little as one hour a week.
Many of these activities you can do on your own, but some make a great group activity. So, what do you have to lose?
Do you want to have some fun awakening the creativity, inspiration, and joy in your life? And.... what does the game, Buy it, Burn it, or Steal it, have to do with noticing? Join me and find out!
